Directions
The Tymparon Inn is conveniently located halfway between Toronto (260 Km - 156
miles) and Montreal (290 Km - 174 miles), just 2 Km off Highway 401, so experiencing all of
Kingston's many attractions and exploring the Thousands Islands couldn't be
easier.

The Tymparon Inn is 30 minutes from the Thousands Islands bridge crossing,
so our location is also extremely convenient for our American friends and
neighbors. We are 2 hours from Syracuse, 3 hours from
Rochester and 6 1/2 hours from Boston. Please remember to bring your
passport or enhanced drivers license (not all states have these) with you as you will need one of
those forms of identification to enter Canada and to return to the United States.
From downtown Kingston (5 km):
Take Ontario Street (becomes Highway 2 East) over the Harbour Bridge past the Royal Military College and Fort Henry to the stop light at
the top of the hill.
Turn left onto County Road 15. The Tymparon Inn is 4 km away.
We are the first private driveway on your right after the traffic light at
Innovation Drive (Tim Hortons).
From Toronto (2 1/2 hours):
Take Highway 401 East towards Montreal.
Exit at County Road 15 (Exit Number 623 - the last Kingston exit).
Turn right, heading South toward Kingston.
The Tymparon Inn will be on your left in 2Km.
From Montreal (2 1/2 hours):
Take Highway 401 West towards Toronto.
Exit at County Road 15 (Exit Number 623 - the first Kingston exit).
Turn left, heading South towards Kingston.
The Tymparon Inn will be on your left in 2Km.
From Syracuse (2 hours), Rochester (3 1/4 hours), Albany (4
hours), Boston (6 1/2 hours):
Take Route 81 North in Syracuse off the New York State Thruway.
Cross into Canada over the Thousands Islands bridge.
Take Highway 401 West towards Toronto.
Exit at County Road 15 (Exit Number 623 - the first Kingston exit).
Turn left, heading South towards Kingston.
The Tymparon Inn will be on your left in 2 Km.
