Dog Guests

As dog lovers and the happy owner of Molly, our ten year old border collie/hound, your innkeepers Zoe and Don realize many owners enjoy traveling with their beloved pooches. Therefore we are very pleased to start welcoming dogs to accompany their owners when they stay at The Tymparon Inn.

In consideration of all guests staying with us, we ask that our dog guests respect the following conditions:

  Dogs are not permitted in the first floor guest sitting area or Cabernet guest breakfast room. (Service dogs are permitted with their owner in these areas.)
  Dogs may not be left alone on the property, except in the owner's car during breakfast or inside their crate in their owners guest room during breakfast.
  Owners need to bring appropriate bedding and/or crates with them, as dogs are not permitted on furniture or beds.
  Owners are welcome to exercise their dog on our property provided they stoop and scoop; plastic bags are available.
  There is a $10/night charge for dog guests to cover the cost of room sanitization following check-out.
  Owners, please respect our other guests and keep dogs under control at all times.

Following each dog visit, the room will be fully disinfected and cleaned. To cover the extra cleaning a $10/night charge will be added to the cost of your room. Should dry cleaning of bedspreads or linens, etc. be necessary, charges will be passed along to the dog owners and charged against the credit card provided.

Having traveled with Molly many times, we have found that these points were easy to follow and, in fact, help Molly become familiar and comfortable with different locations. If you would like to reserve a room at The Tymparon Inn and bring your dog, please provide us with your names, and your dog's name, your address and telephone number, as well as a valid MasterCard or Visa credit card number and expiry date.
