About your Innkeepers Don was born in Liverpool, England and immigrated to Canada with his family when he was 6. He earned a BS and MA from the Royal Military College of Canada in Kingston and retired from the Canadian Armed Forces after 37 years in the Air Force. The Inn was named after Don's English family surname, Tymparon. Zoe was born in Lancaster, PA, lived in Montreal with her parents for 3 years during high school, earned a BS from Duke University in Durham, NC and an MBA from Northeastern University in Boston, MA. After 29 years of corporate marketing and public relations in the states, she retired and moved to Kingston to share life with Don and fulfill their dream of operating a B&B. We genuinely look forward to warmly welcoming you to The Tymparon Inn and to sharing our knowledge about Kingston and the 1000 Islands with you. No matter what your interests, chances are you'll find it right here. As you will learn first hand when you stay with us, we welcome you to our B&B, our home, and encourage you to treat this as your home away from home throughout your stay. We are happy to help you plan your Kingston adventure and will go out of our way to ensure that your stay with us, whether that be one day or a week, is truly wonderful as well as memorable.
